New PhD scholarship with the Melbourne Disability Institute now open.

Applications for a new PhD scholarship with the Faculty of Education Disability Research Collaboration are now open. The Disability Research Collaboration works to improve inclusive education practices through collaborative, co-designed research involving people with disability, their families, and professionals.

If you are a domestic student and interested in pursuing research in one of the following areas, we strongly encourage you to apply! 

  • Investigating school attendance for students with disability in mainstream and specialist settings
  • Understanding the experiences of students with disability during the transition from primary to secondary school so schools can better support student needs
  • An exploration of the process of knowledge mobilisation and how cultural and contextual factors influence the implementation of literacy interventions for students with dyslexia

People with disability are strongly encouraged to apply.
