After opposing the Coalition’s ‘robo’ NDIS reforms, Labor accused of going down similar path

What a difference a few years makes.

In 2021, the disability community rejoiced when independent assessments — a controversial set of reforms spearheaded by the Coalition — were declared “dead”.

Labor — particularly its NDIS spokesperson at the time, Bill Shorten — celebrated too, having heaped a lot of political pressure on the then-government to abandon the change.
