This event is part of Victorian Law Week (15-21 May) organised by the Victoria Law Foundation. The line-up includes:
- Angela Cox, Principal Lawyer, Special Voices Disability Law and Advocacy who will provide a plain English overview of the NDIS appeals process, and the new Independent Expert Review process, and share her tips on how parents can advocate for their child.
- Jakub Patela, Barrister, Aickin Chambers will provide expert tips on how to manage a Hearing at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT).
- Parents who have successfully navigated the NDIS appeals process will share their personal experience.
