Australia’s mental health plan

During their lives almost half of all Australian adults will face mental ill-health. Further, suicide was the main cause of death for Australians aged 15 to 49 years in 2019.

The scale and impact of the challenge has been recognised by governments across Australia. In the last 12 months we have seen major inquiries such as the Victorian Royal Commission into mental health, as well as both Federal and State Governments making real provision for mental health reform in their budgets.

Join this interactive livestream to hear from the Hon. David Coleman MP, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention and NSW Minister for Mental Health, the Hon. Bronwyn Taylor to discuss progress on mental health reform for all Australians.
