On Wednesday 15 October from 10:00am to 2:00pm, BreastScreen Victoria is hosting its inaugural sensory friendly clinic at the Burgundy Street clinic in Heidelberg.
The sensory friendly clinic provides specially trained staff and includes features like longer appointments, fewer people, extra waiting room space, gentle lighting, and no strong scents. These elements work together to create a calm and quiet space for people with sensory needs.
We invite women and the trans and gender diverse community aged 50 to 74 without breast symptoms to have a free breast screen every two years.
