At thistwo-part practical workshop you will develop a practical plan with interactive strategies to support the use of comprehensive communication aids such as multilevel communication books and electronic aids and apps
This workshop will cover:
- The different types of communication aids and their purposes
- How use comprehensive communication aids effectively
- Goal-setting for improved AAC use
- Planning for sustained AAC
This workshop is for any person who is new to the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and would like to learn a comprehensive AAC system or ways that support AAC use.
Attendance at both live workshop sessions is required and to complete two tasks in between the first and second workshop and share with the group.
