Over 2 days, people with disability, families, community, providers, academics, government, experts, and novices from across the globe will explore ways to better understand self-determination and ensure support for decision making is an everyday reality for people in Australia.
The jam-packed agenda includes strategies for implementing support for decision making in employment, home & living and intimate relationships. Theory and practice will be brought together to explore the ways that families, communities, and providers can enhance support for decision making. The future of supported decision making in the NDIS will be discussed and people will share, firsthand, what has worked for them in exercising self-determination.
