The “We need to talk” project is investigating the implications of rapid advances in genomics for people with disabilities and their families. Individuals with firsthand experience of disability, health professionals, scientists, and policymakers are invited to this round table discussion to explore the ethical, legal, and social dimensions of genomics and disability.
The end goal of the project is to combine the views of people with disabilities and their families with the views of medical and health professionals, policy makers and researchers to create a shared discussion regarding genomic technologies and their implications for people with disability.
