Advocates call for more accessible cool spaces for people with heat regulation impairments

People living with disabilities who have a hard time regulating their temperatures say there needs to be more awareness about the condition.

With heatwave events set to be more frequent across the country, researchers say thermoregulation must be part of urban planning.

Advocates want to see a website or phone application created to indicate where the safe and accessible spaces are in their community.
