This competition was set up to commemorate Dulcie Stone.  She was a disability advocate from Victoria. She was a big supporter of people with intellectual disability, encouraging them to be creative in writing.

This year the competition is expanding to include people with intellectual disability right across Australia. First prize is $500, as well as $200 for the best entry in each state!

You can choose what you want to write about:

• Something important to you, like your friends and family
• Your community
• A made up story
• Or something else
