Help increase awareness of Australia’s public transport accessibility requirements

There’s low public awareness of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (Transport Standards) among people with disability. Awareness of the Transport Standards is important so people with disability are aware of their rights and what to expect when accessing public transport in Australia.

To help the Department understand what people with disability would like to know about the Transport Standards and how they would like to receive this information, they are conducting a survey. Information collected through the survey will help inform how they can improve awareness of the Transport Standards.

This survey is designed for individuals to complete and will take approximately 10 minutes. The survey will close on Friday 2 August 2024 at 5pm AEST. Please click the link below to complete the survey.
