Supporting and connecting Deaf people, Olivia finds her calling more than just a job

Olivia Jackson felt invisible for over ten years working in a supermarket as a Deaf woman.

But she’s finally found her true calling after swapping shelf stocking for a job as a support worker helping other Deaf people to achieve their goals.

Olivia lost her hearing as a child and primarily communicates by sign language, or Auslan, which she said was not well supported in the supermarket.
