GDA provides an independent consolidated approach in representing the interests of individuals with disabilities within Melba SDA. Direct advocacy provision to the residents builds trust, becomes accessible, then works collaboratively to resolve issues of concern raised.
GDA is committed to a process of monitoring and supporting individuals to understand their rights, make complaints and ensure they are not subjected to violence, abuse, neglect, or exploitation in their lives by working in and with their residential environments.
