Nia Giddings

Nia has been a member of Brain Injury Matters since 2019, she is currently the organisations Vice Chairperson and previously was in the role of secretary for 5 years. Besides being a mother to two teenage girls, Nia is a Project Worker at the Self Advocacy Resource Unit leading the NDIS Self Advocacy Working Group.

Nia had a car accident in 1988. Initially she lost her speech and couldn't move her right side. A few years after her accident, Nia did a BA and followed that with a Master of Library and Information Studies.
