Jen Rowley

Jen has a background in nursing and also as a sessional – teacher in Community Services at TAFE. She has worked in the Community Sector for the past eight years as a disability advocate and Executive Officer with Gippsland Disability Advocacy. Jen has a strong belief in empowering people with a disability through self advocacy and has been actively involved in supporting the New Wave Self Advocacy Group from its earliest days. Recently Gippsland Disability Advocacy Inc was able to provide New Wave Self Advocacy Group with an opportunity to share their premises. This has been another step forward in continuing the positive partnership that has developed between GDAI and New Wave Self Advocacy.
