Kate Bergman

Kate has worked as a Secondary Art teacher and a Bookkeeper. She has a 28 year old daughter with mosaic Down Syndrome. Kate has been involved in Citizen Advocacy for 22 years, firstly as a Committee of Management member and also the citizen advocate for a couple with two children. Kate then joined the staff of North East Citizen Advocacy 7 years ago as part-time Program Manager. She has been the citizen advocate for Jenny (the mother) for 16 years, and the partnership continues.
