Tanya Harding

I am a Team Leader of Advocacy and NDIS Appeals and works for the Rights Information and Advocacy Centre. (RIAC)

As a disability advocate, I am deeply committed to promoting the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities.

My caring nature drives me to listen to the stories of those often marginalized by society. I have witnessed the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities—whether physical, sensory, or cognitive—and their families. These challenges range from accessibility barriers to discriminatory attitudes. It is my mission to dismantle these barriers and amplify their voices.

I have learnt the importance of empowering people to navigate complex systems and access essential resources.

I am excited to contribute my energy, empathy, and determination to create a more inclusive world—one where everyone’s abilities are celebrated, and barriers are replaced with bridges.

I am passionate about my role, and I enjoy the challenges it presents every day to ensure positive change happens.

Empowering people to speak up and have a voice is my ultimate purpose.
