This article is a part of a series exploring the inner details of the NDIS Review recommendations and there have been few as controversial as mandatory registration. Recommendation 17 of the NDIS Review’s Final Report details a proposal for a new risk-proportionate model of regulation. This intends to increase the visibility of the NDIS market and strengthen the regulatory response to quality and safeguarding issues.
