The Victorian Council of Social Service is running their fourth annual Renting in Victoria Survey and we want to hear from everyone who works in the social and community sector in Victoria!
Housing is a cross-cutting issue and we know Victorians accessing all types of social and community services are often also experiencing housing challenges.
Therefore, the goal of this survey is to gather insights on the Victorian rental market, by drawing on the experiences and perspectives of social and community sector workers, as you support people at greatest risk of discrimination and hardship in the rental market. Your participation will assist us to collect real-time insights on renter experiences, and how the changes to the Residential Tenancies Act 1997 have affected the rental market, renters, and community sector workers who support renters.
The Renting in Victoria survey was instrumental in our advocacy last year and formed the evidence base of our Renting in Victoria 2023 report. This report generated huge advocacy impact including supporting the establishment of the new rental taskforce. Our voices together are key in driving the systemic reform agenda on rental fairness.
The survey takes approximately 15 minutes and can be accessed via link below.
