You are invited to participate in a research study titled ‘people living with a disability, their carers and support workers: their lived experience of disasters (fires, floods, pandemic, and extreme weather)’. The overall aim of the study is to determine – in relation to obtaining information and connecting to supports and services before, during and after a disaster – what obstacles or assistance were experienced by people who are living with a disability and by those who care for or support them.
The study is being conducted by Sue Jack from the Australian Graduate School of Policing and Security at Charles Sturt University (CSU) for her Doctor of Public Safety degree.
