DARU provides eight main forms of resources to the Victorian disability advocacy sector, which range from information services, capacity building, professional development and connecting advocacy into the wider community sector. The resources are:
- Professional development and training
- Disability Advocacy Code of Conduct
- Certificate IV in Disability Advocacy
- DARU Update weekly email
- Online Directory
- Forums
- Equipment library
- Biennial conference.
The DARU webpage is the platform through which many resources are provided, recorded, and promoted. The webpage includes an events calendar, which lists upcoming professional development and training as well as forums and the biennial conference. There is also a fully searchable database of all the articles from the weekly email update. Organisations are able to access the equipment library through a secure page within the website. The Code of Conduct can also be downloaded through the webpage. Lastly, the Online Directory of disability advocacy organisations operating in Victoria is hosted on the webpage. As such, any changes or improvements to the available resources will likely also require changes to the DARU website.
