Organisations, businesses and other entities can develop and implement a Disability Action Plan to prevent disability discrimination. Further information is available here: https://www.humanrights.gov.au/our-work/disability-rights/action-plans-and-action-plan-guides
The plan identifies potential areas of discrimination, what the organisation or company intends to do about it, and how and when they will implement it. The Action Plan is usually made public or available on request. Some are registered with the Australian Human Rights Commission.
The organisation may use the action plan, not as a complete defence to a complaint, but to provide evidence that they are trying to do the right thing.
